Elephants are natural gurus. But unlike human gurus, elephants do not have a voice respected by larger society. For thousands of years now, elephants have been persecuted, abused, imprisoned, and slaughtered for their tusks. There are only 38,000 elephants left worldwide. Elephants are an Endangered Species; it is a great injustice driven by humanity's neverending lust and greed. While we cannot change the behaviour of others, we can do something in our own small corners to improve the lives of these graceful, wise and serene mammals.
